On Sunday, Trinamool Congress Party (TMC) has come up with very good results against the highly competitive Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) who gave all their time and efforts during the grim time of pandemic to have a historic win in West Bengal opposing the didi’s party.

Around 8 AM, the counting of votes started when both the parties had eyes on the upcoming results because this year it was an intense rivalry with jam-packed action between TMC and BJP to sit on the throne. There was neck-to-neck competition but as every votes count started from the postal ballot at first, the movement began to shift towards the TMC parties and BJP leaders found themselves more on the losing side.

With the day ending, TMC has surged past with 215 seats (95 wins) and the BJP still stuck at 74 seats only (24 wins) in the election race. However, it can be seen that soon the leading party will cross the mark of 294 assembly seats in the state.

The most intense fight for votes was in Nandigram, where Mamta Banerjee stood up against the BJP Suvendu Adhikari who formerly worked with Didi’s party. Suvendu has also a past history working with TMC before resigning from the party last year in December.

But as per the latest media address, Mamta Banerjee has declared she has lost the Nandigram seat with a slight margin of 1624 votes. This has become a turning point for the TMC leader as she might have won the state election but lose her seat after getting a defeat against the former party member.

Although, the result coming from West Bengal, has made the mighty BJP party not touch even a half of the seats that TMC has gained in the results. There was mostly backlash from citizens of India for the West Bengal election after seeing every party leader being selfish for results and having big rallies with thousands of public gatherings during the grim situation of the country in Covid-19 Pandemic.

Although, the results from the different state have shown different parties leading with better results as per 6:00 PM IST :-

The above information is from the data collected from recent data at 6:00 PM IST, there can be change in the final results as voting count is still process for the remaining seats in different states.
