Today on Friday, PM Narendra Modi inaugurated the ‘Atma Nirbhar Uttar Pradesh Rojgar Abhiyan’ being undertaken as part of the Garib Kalyan Rojgar Abhiyan.
It will seek to develop a coalition with Industrial associations and will also encourage the local entrepreneurship to generate more employment opportunities.
Today while interacting through a videoconference at the launch of the ‘Atma Nirbhar Uttar Pradesh Rojgar Yojana’, PM Modi applauded the efforts of UP Government that “If Yogi Ji and his teammates had not prepared well, U.P. would have encountered damage like in America, then today in U.P. not 600 but 85,000 persons could have lost their lives”.
PM Modi has ascertained an objective of having 1.25 crore jobs, 31 districts in the 125-day campaign to deliver employment who sacrificed their job during the Covid-19 Outbreak.
At the virtual launch, Prime Minister has interacted with villagers of UP. Multiple villages of the Uttar Pradesh have joined the event through Common Service Centres and Krishi Vigyan Kendras.
The scheme will seek to merge the central and state government’s programme while building partnerships with industry and other organisations.
This campaign will intensely focus on providing employment and encouraging local entrepreneurship.
