US Biotech firm Moderna Vaccine shows an effective rate of 94.5% against the Covid-19

In whole world, every big institutions are trying their effective efforts to make Covid-19 vaccine to fight against the pandemic. The Vaccine making has also a turned into a highly competitive race when every big organization from around the world are trying to get a piece of cake with the most effective vaccine.

Moderna’s announcement came one week after Pfizer and BioNTech said that their vaccine was more than 90% effective. The early positive data for the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines has validated the mRNA platform, on which the vaccines have been developed.

The institutions like Moderna, Pfizer, Sputnik, Oxford & many more are trying their best possible efforts to make the most effective vaccine.

In the latest updates, India’s Bharat Biotech International Limited has also started phase 3 trials of its vaccine. After America’s Moderna, claimed its vaccine candidate has been found to be 94.5% effective.

Even as several countries were planning to roll out Covid-19 vaccines as early as in December or January, doses of these vaccine were unlikely to available before early- or mid-2021, World Health Organization (WHO) Southeast Asia Regional Director Dr Poonam Khetrapal Singh told Business Standard.

“It is hoped that if a successful vaccine is found within the next few months, enough doses will be available for countries by the end of 2021 so that those in priority populations who choose to be vaccinated have access to them,” Singh said.
